Getting Married In Arizona?

Having lived out west myself for the last 30 years I have found Arizona to be most an unusual state, and a beautiful one as well. It is smack dab right in the American southwest with both Native American and Hispanic influences all through out the state. Now like many states in America the entire region is not all the same. In the southern part if the Sonoran Desert, it is majestic cactuses reminiscent of something like an old wild west movie. The northern part is actually part of the Rocky Mountain range and has fantastic skiing and winter getaways. So no matter if you like the heat or the cold, Arizona can full fill your needs with no problems. If you live in the southern portion of the state then you are most likely near Phoenix, which happens to be the largest city, and the state capital as well.

Now since this is one of the hottest states in the union, and if you are having a traditional June wedding you may want to have it indoors where it is nice and cool. Some great wedding venues in Phoenix are the Manor in Catlin Court, a charming location built in 1917 and was formally a church but has recently been converted to handle only weddings. They can accommodate parties of up to 200 guests. If you require a much larger wedding venue then might I suggest the Westin in downtown Phoenix. It is a breathtaking hotel that can handle thousands of guests in one of their ballrooms. Of course their cuisine is second to none. Which is what you would want for your special day right? At the Westin they are not strangers to putting on weddings and have full wedding planning staff to help you put together the best day of your life.

For those of you living in the northern part of the state might I would suggest a cozy wedding ceremony in the incredible mountain getaway of Flagstaff. Maybe in a white wedding dress? A fall outdoor wedding in this area will simply blow you away. All the vibrant colors of the changing trees are just like back east. Probably the best place in Flagstaff is the Little America Hotel. This hotel actually has an onsite wedding coordinator who will plan every detail right down to the color of your napkins at the reception. You really could not be in better hands. Remember also after the wedding your just a short 80 miles from one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon. If you have not see it yet, please do not deny yourself this special privilege. Yes it goes without saying that if you live in Arizona you can consider yourself very lucky with such a wide range of alluring locations to visit and breathtaking vistas to look upon. I can think of no finer place to get married to the one you love then in Arizona.
