Procedure
Firstly, go to the Marriage Bureau and get your Marriage Licence, which has to be taken with you at your wedding. Popular dates such as weekends, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day... often lead to longer waiting periods.
Then, the actual marriage ceremony can take place either in a chapel or through the Commissioner of Civil Marriages. In both cases a wittness has to be present. In case a couple arrived without any wittness a wittness will be provided.
