Getting Hitched In The Silver State

I happen to live in Nevada and this state has received a bit of a bad rap when it comes to getting married here. People love to make jokes about the drive through weddings and super high divorce rate once the alcohol wears off the next day. However nothing could be farther from the truth. People love to get married here, both because of connivance but also because you can have a wedding of lavish style unmatched by anywhere else in the country. Now we are going to examine the top wedding planners and locations for the two main areas of the state of Nevada. Around 90% of the state live either in or around Reno and Las Vegas, so the information I give you here today should help you facilitate the selection and planning process of your happy occasion.

Will start off with the big boy, fabulous Las Vegas. Now it goes without saying that this is probably the marriage capital of the world, simply because of the incredible locations alone. If you are looking for a small intimate setting then go to The Chapel Of The Flowers, this is a quaint setting and for just a few guests only for the actual ceremony. If you are looking for a religious setting then get married in Our Lady Of Las Vegas, which happens to be one of richest parishes in the country. The church can hold several hundred people and is decorated beautifully with accents of cherry wood and huge stain glass windows like the old churches in Europe. CLM Wedding and Events is probably the premier wedding planning company for the city of lights. They can put on incredible lavish affairs that will include a fantastic reception at one of the beautiful hotels, like the breathtaking Wynn or Mirage.

Now if you live up north in the Reno and Carson City area, believe me marriage is just as big a business up there as well. Plus, the outdoor locations in and around Lake Tahoe can make for a wedding of the angels. Check out Once Upon A Time Events. They specialize in perfect weddings, and have been voted several times the number one wedding planner in the area for several years running. I suggest having an outdoor wedding by the lake, but if indoor is the thing for you there are plenty of ball and reception rooms in the fantastic hotels in Reno, just like Las Vegas. The Grand Sierra Resort is a very nice choice as well as the Silver Legacy Hotel and resort. It goes without saying that no matter what venue you choose and location the perfect wedding will be achieved in the silver state.
